Dr. Hakan Demir uses a method for breast reduction which reduces scarring. Most techniques for breast reduction involve an anchor shaped scar which goes around the areola, down to the fold and from side to side along the fold or crease under the breast.

Dr. Hakan Demir has adapted the European method of breast reduction surgery to provide a shorter scar, which just goes around the areola and down to the fold. This scar is shaped more like a squash racquet. Dr. Hakan Demir believes that the added benefits of this procedure are the improved shape and the reduced recovery time for the patient.
